The Programme

Introduction/Bullseye/Values - Dr Helen Austin (1.5 hours) An introduction to the weekends programme and to the underlying themes of Awareness, Balance and Connection. This will include an assessment of your current work satisfaction and work/life balance utilising tools from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). There will also be discussion and assessment of values and strengths and how these apply to you in day to day situations, including through the use of the Choice Point.

“Pay Attention” - An Introduction to Mindfulness - Dr Amanda Smith (1.5 hours)
An interactive introduction to practical mindfulness and how you can utilize this in day to day practice to manage stress.

Forest walk/mindfulness practice - Dr Helen Austin (2 hours, excluding travel) An opportunity for you to practice mindfulness in a beautiful outdoor setting, whilst also emphasising the importance of regular exercise and the benefits of exposure to nature.
